    At 76, Vicente, openly gay, lives a free and carefree life in Maspalomas, enjoying the sun, parties, and pleasures. But an accident changes everything: he must return to San Sebastián, reconnect with the daughter he had left behind, and move into a care home. In this new environment, he feels compelled to go back into the closet — to hide an essential part of himself that he believed he had long since accepted. Faced with this regression, Vicente wonders whether it is still possible to reconcile with others... and with himself.

    In the mythical bar Babel, a place of both life and death, lost souls and the living in search of meaning cross paths. Meanwhile, Jacob, the son of an Orthodox pastor, hides from his family his desire to become a drag queen. Uma, a mysterious Romani woman, makes a risky wager with La Flaca: to save her dying daughter. All of this unfolds under the omniscient gaze of the Boticario and Erato, who are not what they seem — narrators between heaven and the abyss.
